Â
Sandra J. Schulze, Director of Public Relations & Marketing Communications, Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott & Marriott Executive Apartments Doha City Centre

Sandra J. Schulze is your typical creative, interactive German with an a typical Middle Eastern flair. Her vast international experience has taken her from Germany to the UK, to Switzerland, and to Dubai, pausing to catch her breath in Doha. She moved here in September 2008 after spending four years in Dubai, at several luxury hotels.
With unprecedented growth in Qatar’s hospitality industry, Sandra recognized Doha as the perfect extension to the Hot Hoteliers brand. Doha is special. As a city, it embraces its traditional roots, while seamlessly integrating heritage with luxury and modernism. Sandra enriches her experience in Doha by embracing the best of both worlds, and of course, her never say never attitude.
This is not Sandra’s first foray into social and professional clubs. She initiated the German Girls Club, and attends monthly dinners for the hotel Public Relations Ladies in Doha.
Sandra is extremely energetic and full of joie de vivre. When she finds spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, working out and shopping. On weekends, she can be found clubbing at PEARL, enjoying the Lebanese specialties at Souq Waqif, strolling through the Museum of Islamic Arts or the PEARL development, drinking coffees with friends or engaging in retail therapy at Villaggio, Landmark and City Center Mall.
Duncan Montgomery, Operations Executive, Renaissance Doha City Center, Courtyard by Marriott Doha City Center, and Marriott Executive Apartments Doha City Center.

Hot Hoteliers’ resident Canadian, Duncan Montgomery, has lived in Doha since November 2007.
Inspired by his passion for hospitality and food, he joined Marriott in May 2005. He worked at the Renaissance Toronto Downtown, establishing himself as a jack of all trades. Duncan gained experience as a bell man, PBX operator, security, doorman, club lounge attendant and as a front desk agent.
A huge sports fan, his allegiance to Toronto teams remains steadfast, though he is warming to the local clubs in Doha. Ever a big city boy, Duncan’s favourites are New York, London and Toronto, though he is keen to travel widely, with previous visits to Kenya, Hong Kong, Barbados and Dubai.
On weekends, Duncan explores Doha haunts with his fiancée and friends, often stopping at Ric’s Kountry Kitchen (a breakfast spot popular among the ex-pat community), Habanos at the Ritz-Carlton and the Irish Harp in the Sheraton. He loves how international Doha is, and can be found soaking up the local culture at Doha’s various souqs every now and again.
Gareth J. Greening, Director of Sales & Marketing, Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott & Marriott Executive Apartments Doha City Centre

Originally from Northern Ireland, Gareth moved to Doha last year as Director of Marketing, currently in pre-operations at Marriott’s latest sprawling hotel. Before relocating to the Gulf, Gareth enjoyed positions in Vail, Colorado and in London at the luxurious Grosvenor Square and West India Quay hotels.
Gareth loves to travel, and has lived in Scotland, Colorado, London and Qatar. He is an avid golfer and banks time at the Doha Golf Club whenever possible. His other interests include football, water sports and driving around the city in his Jeep Wrangler.
A newlywed, Gareth is joined in Doha by his lovely wife Birgit.
